Seasons Transition from summer to autumn

いつの間にか秋が訪れていた。
An autumn has come without warning.
Rustling fallen leaves reminded me of the season change when I walked
through a small park. A glaring summer sun has gone, autumn’s sunlight is
shining on the chrysanthemum.
I realized how quickly time has passed,
Now I am looking through photos of summer memories,

The day of 9/11 returns every year,
9/11 returned to me with unforgettable memories,
A boy was crying at the waterfall l near the surrounding stone where all victim’s name are engraved.
He lost his mom on 9/11 when he was 2years old. He can hardly remember his mom, but he has heard a lot about her from his family since then.
The night before of 9.11,2014, my friends and I visited the 9/11 memorial and offered our prayers to all victims,
We stood by the “Survivor Tree” which is the only surviving tree that stands between the North waterfall and the South waterfall,
The tree revived miraculously, under the special treatment by plant specialists this tree is well-known as a symbol of New Yorker’s spirits.
